This app is a pain. - it reacts extremely slow. Sometimes it takes 1-2 seconds to open the next page. - the tools - probably most important for most readers, particularly students - are ridiculous. Making highlights is really slow and sometimes doesnt work at all. - textbooks are about 500mb each. I am currently studying towards the CFA exam, so the entire CFA curriculum takes about 3gb. PDFs of comparable size have about 30-40gb each. Id really like to mention something positive here, but for the last couple of months this app literally freaked me out at least twice a day.

I am stuck with it because of the CFA books, it keeps crashing when I scroll and is extremely slow. Painful having to use this instead of the Acrobat reader.

This is one of the worst applications I have ever used. It is slow, it crashes, it makes it difficult to highlight and it doesnt even synchronize my books well enough among different devices. I have wasted so much time trying to make the synchronization work... It is just frustrating. I hope someone will have a better experience than mine.

How can a reading App - which for example functions as the gateway to the Schweser CFA study material - NOT support split screen multi tasking on the iPad Pro / Air2. Its as if Vitalsource and too many others deliberately sabotages what otherwise could be a really really great productivity boost. Now developers go and implement those size classes !

I have to use this app because the cfa institute tells me I have to but if I didnt I would have deleted this app right from the start.

I have this app and bought a book. I would like to able to have the book read to me but this app makes it impossible. What do you gain by not enabling this VoiceOver function on the iPhone, even after making requests to you. Its very disappointing to say the least. The print is also not sharp at all. It is kind of blurred when words are enlarged. In short, quality is not as good as some books I have bought or read from other bookstores. Please act promptly! To pay so much and not get what you expect or want hurts too much!

An out of date app that is desperately in need of updating. It does not synch well with the iPad and does not recognize the books. UPDATE: App still does not download CFA books....

Bought my first etextbook today with vital source. App is good on my iPad. Took an hour to figure out highlighting. App does function well. The sync to on line is seamless and slick.

This app is the mandatory ereader for the CFA books and it is terrible. It lags, always displays a graphical overlay at the bottom of each page, it has a bad index/reference system. In the end I had to just use the hard copies to study, you end up spending more time fighting the UI than you do reading/studying.

I get the following error al the time. It started just today. Everything was perfect. Error signing in. You have reached your machine activation limit. Plead fix it.

- Outdated with limited options. - Doesnt work on iOS 7 yet.

App keeps crashing since I updated. So much for accessing my school textbooks.

The concept is descent but its very poorly executed. It crashes often. Scrolling is super slow both here and on the computer. Its hassle to find anything and its difficult to ever download a book without it crashing. Most likely you will only get it if you bought an online WILEY book

I have the latest iPad mini and the app is really slow. It s really hard to highlight. I m studying for the CFA exam and it s a waste of time trying to highlight something. Also the scrolling is really slow and changing the page is not efficient. Please fix it.

Dont ever buy book from this software. Its a complete waste of your retina display since the books have very low resolution. Magnified characters are mosaics.

I have 3 iOS devices, only can login two of them, what the hell

This is pretty much one of the worst ebook apps I have used so far in terms of functionality.
