Need audio!!!

They need to add audio functionality to this app. Im stuck with this for my CFA texts and its not good!

Getting worse

Older version is better... All my classmates arent happy about the new version either... Pls change it

Very Slow to Support New Apple Hardware

This app gets the job done for displaying my textbooks, but unfortunately I own an iPad Pro and this app fails to make use of the larger display in a reasonable way. Books are scaled up and look all blurry. Even aside from the iPad Pro scaling, I dont know why you can get a tiny PDF of the same book and it looks perfect in any other app no matter how you read it, but with this app, books always look blurry no matter what and you cant zoom in without making them look even worse and more pixelated. It looks like the book was compiled from screenshots at a different resolution than the screen Im using. Gross! Its always disappointing if I cant find another copy of a book in PDF and have to read it with this app. Hopefully this is something the developers can improve on, and I hope that iPad Pro support eventually does happen. And please implement iOS 9 slide over/multitasking support! Itd be really handy to be able to use this app beside another sometimes.

Its not working

Maybe its because Im from Canada but it will NOT let me sign in. Im 100% positive on my id and password but it will not let me in the app. It works on the website just fine. I give up on this app.

Slow and non user friendly

Works very slow. Creating a highlight can take up to 10 second for the app to process the request (both on data and wifi). In addition, its not exactly user friendly since you cant bookmark. You need to either remember exactly the page number or scroll through by navigating on the book menu.

Poor Highlighting

Very poor highlighting capabilities. Very awkward to select, adjust selection, then highlight. Additional markup tools required.

Highlighting is Frustrating

Often times when highlighting a sentence the entire paragraph is highlighted instead. Nothing can be done about this and its extremely annoying to have a full paragraph highlighted when I only wanted to focus on a few key words.

Hire a UX designer and search engineer

Search is useless cause I cant filter between sections of a book, or with Boolean terms. Get a User Experience designer: My notes on highlighted text should be all contained on one page in collapsible sections as opposed to 3 additional taps and screens. SIMPLIFY!

iPad Pro support

Please consider adding IPad Pro support, especially keyboard and Apple Pencil support.

Some suggestions. One Critical!

Found the app very useful on my laptop - on the computer its fantastic! However on my iPad Pro it remains unused. This is purely based on the fact that highlight sync does not work between devices. This is a major issue for me. Also Apple Pencil support would be nice :) would change to 5 stars if these features were available.

Needs work

Wont stop downloading to my iPad no matter how many times I tap cancel. Cant tap on a page in a books index to go directly to that page. Not a very user friendly app.

No Split Screen Capability

The app is great on my Macbook, but cannot be used properly on my iPad Pro. It would be great if there was split screen capability, as well as Apple Pen support. Ive been forced to use the online version of bookshelf, which can be quite a pain when trying to write notes.

Thank You

Thanks for final allow split-screen multitasking with this program, Ive been wanting this feature for some time now. I definitely makes it alot easier to study from. I can now concurrently looking up things on line or watch a video. This is awesome!!!

Many books are a gross, blurry mess

VitalSource have finally updated this app to support the iPad Pro and multitasking, so welcome to 2015 guys! Unfortunately the biggest problem with this app is that many books (the type which preserve the appearance and layout of the original printed book) look like a gross, blurry mess, as if this app is showing low-resolution screenshots of the book, rather than vector print and diagrams. This also means zooming in on anything is pointless as it looks even worse. Ill note that the Mac version of VitalSource Bookshelf does not have this problem, so I dont know why books look so awful on the iPad. I dont know why I pay for legitimate access to textbooks and then am reduced to wanting to go find a PDF on the Pirate Bay in order to get something thats actually legible and good quality on an iPad. This app is functional, but nowhere as nice as some of the better PDF readers for iOS. I mainly just wish VitalSource would fix the blurry books in their iOS app.

table of contents is not fully improved

I expected more improvement in the table of contents, but it is not enough in the curriculum of CFA. The least unit of content is "Reading" or "session" It is too much broad. (100-300pages)CFA contents is much less than its price. CFA INSTITUTE should pay back to candidates for this e-book, if this is not improved soon. Font of the note do not support mathematical caracter.

It is bad.

It is very unuseful.

Crap

Designers of this soft are complete idiots . If I was able not to use it, I would never do again

Thinktwice

Worst. Ebook reader. Ever. Someone at CFA Institute grabbed a kickback for approving this as an official app?

Good for CFA preparation

All fine except I would suggest adding search in books and printing in Win version is too slow.

Pretty awful

Works extremely slow when you make many marks in the text. This version is 100% unusable, at least on iPad
